Breakfast on my terrace was fantastic, with fresh orange juice and buttery croissants. I discovered amazing local dining options, especially at Baud et Millet for exceptional cheese dishes. The charming garden area offered a tranquil escape amidst the city buzz, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
If I had to nitpick, breakfast replenishment could've been quicker. no filter coffee or pancakes at times. But the staff jumped in swiftly to sort things out, and the overall experience still sparkled.

Maison du Lierre felt like a hidden gem. The location surprised me. it was quiet but close enough to walk to the city center. My room had a lovely terrace that made breakfast in the garden special. The ambiance was trendy and comfortable, with a charming vibe. However, the hotel didn't have a lift, which could be tough for those with heavy luggage. On the bright side, the staff were accommodating and made me feel welcome. The only downside was the breakfast setup, which could use more variety. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the charm of the hotel.

I had a great experience staying here. The location was ideal with shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed relaxing on the terrace outside my room. Unlike some places where I’ve stayed, the amenities here were convenient and worked well. The multilingual staff helped me feel at home. As an Italian who loves country music, I appreciated the blend of comfort and access to local culture.

charming hotel near wonderful sights and hidden restaurants
The hotel is right in the heart of beautiful Bordeaux, making it super easy to stroll around and soak in the sights—just a short walk to the stunning Grand Theatre and the vibrant Girondins Monument, both of which I really enjoyed during my visit. I also loved that I could grab delightful meals right around the corner, especially at the charming Au Chaperon Rouge that was just steps away from the hotel!

The breakfast on my terrace was such a delightful surprise, served with fresh orange juice and warm croissants. I especially enjoyed lounging in the peaceful garden area and soaking up the sun on the sun terrace. The only downside was the absence of air conditioning, which made the room a bit warm but didn’t take away from my overall great experience! 😊
